Cinnamon Cashew Almond Butter

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups raw, unsalted cashews
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

Directions:

Place nuts in one layer on a cookie sheet. Bake in the oven at 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes, tossing halfway through. Put all ingredients into the food processor and blitz until smooth. This may take a while. Store nut butter in a mason jar or Tupperware in a cool, dry place.


Nuts: High in Omega3 fats
Cinnamon: High in anti-oxidants, manganese, and fiber
